Welp. I signed up for another box. The Allure Beauty Box.

I really have a love hate relationship with these things. I always end up giving the samples away to friends and family, which is great and all but… that’s $10-$15 I could’ve spent elsewhere.

I’ve committed to seeing how much of this box and I can use up before the next one comes though. I’ll update when I post the December  box 🙂

This box is $15 and contains full and travel sized products worth $50-$90. You can generally find a $5 off your first month codes and they usually offer some extra goody when you first signup. Boxycharm on the other hand, is $21 per month and contains 4-5 FULL SIZED products valued at $100+. You do the math.

There is no way this box had a value of $50 unless 100% of that value was in the Kat Von D Saint perfume sample, which is a possibility.

Quick reviews of what I have tried so far:

Beauty For Real eyeliner – I had zero expectation of this and it’s turned out to be my new favorite! It glides on nicely, even in my waterline, stays put for 10+ hours and doesn’t smudge. I will purchase this.

Korres Rose Sleeping Mask – Oh MY. The rose scent in this was too over powering for me. I was able to have it on for maybe 10 minutes before I had to scrub it off. If you love roses, you’d probably appreciate it more than I did.

Pantene Foam Conditioner – I liked this! You don’t need to use very much and I found it to be very lightweight. I liked that it was gently conditioning without weighing my hair down. The scent wasn’t my favorite but it also wasn’t a deal killer. I’ll purchase this.

    1. I was pretty disappointed! Next month’s box is supposed to have a Becca highlight in it, but after that I’m going to give another box a try.
